Natur-Camping im Schwarzwald

We booked a spot a week before, but the day we arrived we came late around 21:00, even though they prefer you to come until 18:00. Although we came late, we found a spot to put our RV and we went to sleep after an amazing shower. In the morning we came to pay and they were nett when it came to pricing. Amazing place, would definitely come again❤️

Langenwald Campsite, nestled in a beautiful valley, fully deserves the word "natur" in its name. The pitches are laid out as if nature had planned them. Spacious, providing privacy, and with electricity and water connections. A restaurant serving meals, a swimming pool, a shop, spotlessly clean and warm bathrooms, and friendly, smiling, and helpful staff made us feel safe and very comfortable at the campsite. We camped on a pitch directly adjacent to the stream that flows through the campsite, its murmuring stream providing a pleasant respite after returning from the trail. And there's plenty of room for hiking. I recommend a walk to Lake Langbrunnenweiher, which you can walk around. For hikers and cyclists, the area around the campsite is a true paradise. Excellently groomed and maintained forest roads, trails, shelters offering shelter, and above all, silence, birdsong, and the scent of the forest. We also received a healthy dose of fatigue, after all, these are mountains. It was so wonderful that we did not want to leave because we experienced true and authentic comfort and happiness from people and nature.

At the start of our camping trip we had to quickly reschedule everything and we were looking for a campsite somewhere in the Black Forest in Germany. Natur-Camping Langenwald seemed to get great reviews so we contacted them and booked a space for a few days in June. It turns out that we made an excellent decision because this campsite is one of the best I have ever been to! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were all amazingly helpful and friendly (they also spoke great English). We just couldn't believe how nice everything was there! The shower block was like something from a 5-star hotel, the laundry and dishwashing were absolutely immaculate and every time I went in there was never even a speck of dirt anywhere. There is even a place to wash your dog and it has both hot and cold water - it was better than many of the human showers we encountered on our trip. There is a brilliant little cafe / bar on site that served coffee and cakes in the afternoon and hearty traditional German food in the evening along with a great selection of drinks. It isn't open very late so there is no noise at night time. The reception had a well-stocked shop and a great selection of freshly-baked breads and croissants each morning for breakfast. The location is absolutely perfect too. Right in the forest where you can join one of the hundreds of miles of signposted trails just seconds from your camping pitch. The sleepy town of Freudenstadt was a beautiful 45 minute walk through the forest, and also a very pleasant cycle ride too. The biggest problem with Natur-Camping Langenwald is that we had to leave - I wanted to stay there for ever! (We are already making plans to go back in 2023!)

One of the best Campgrounds we have been to in Germany! Extremely friendly owners, beautifully located at the edge of the black forest in short distance to Freudenstadt, recently renovated, modern & clean facilities, offering all kinds of leisure activities (volleyball, swimming, ping pong, TV room, ...), lots of seating available (in case you did not bring any chairs) and a very well equipped shop! If you are into Camping, it doesn't get better than this! Highly recommended!
